Who am I?  Often I have asked myself this question and I have yet to

find a satisfactory answer.  One part of me, however, is the author

calling himself Kit Thornton...

Kit Thornton lives with his wife a few miles to the south of Derby.  Born in Kensington

and raised in the London area, he has had considerable experience of technical

writing during an engineering career that provided opportunities for travel to various

European countries and also to North America, India and the Middle East.  However he

has only recently attempted a more creative style of writing and now enjoys the

challenge of producing short stories.  In addition to writing, his main interests are

researching family history, restoring vintage (small) machinery and working in his

garden.
